Blakes in Bath

Whilst I was in Bath, soaking up the splendid architecture and interiors of some of the finest Georgian buildings, last weekend I came across a truly delightful interiors shop called Blakes. If you’re visiting Bath then do look it up. You will find a treasure trove of brilliantly curated pieces, from candles and clocks, to lights and mirrors, kitchenware and occasional chairs.  I took a few photo’s to give you an idea of the pieces I spotted and particularly liked.

We bought a delightful mantel clock, aptly named a Latham Clock, which is now proudly sitting on the sideboard in our dining room.

Blakes is on Bridge Street in Bath and the proprietor Patrick Crawshaw offers an interior design service which judging by the selection he has made for his shop would be an eclectic and very stylish affair.
